WAVERLY ALL CALL SYSTEM SIGN UP

The Village of Waverly has contracted with One Call Now for mass telephone messaging services. One Call Now is an established mass communications company that has a proven track record working with municipalities and corporations. By signing up with One Call Now, you will receive telephone messages containing important information for Waverly residents. Messages will be sent for water boil alerts, emergency notifications and general interest events. You may add more than one phone number and can register to receive text messages.

We encourage all residents to sign up for this service in order to receive communication of important information.

                                                                      UPDATED SUPERLOADS SCHEDULE

The ninth superload moving through Southern Ohio is scheduled to depart from the dock at Manchester on Thursday, May 2. It is scheduled to pass through Waverly sometime that day.  The load will be 16  feet, 3 inches wide, 19 feet, 2 inches high, 197 feet long and weigh 436,410 pounds. 

2024 VILLAGE OF WAVERLY SPRING CLEAN-UP

Waverly's Spring Clean-up will be held April 29 through May 3, 2024. All items must be placed at the curb by 7 a.m. for pickup. No tires, batteries, household garbage, gas containers, paint or chemicals, or railroad cross ties will be accepted. All construction materials, such as drywall, porcelain, flooring, etc., must be taken to the dumpsters provided at the Village of Waverly Street Department located at 9040 State Route 220. 

NEW CONSTRUCTION SEASON IS HERE

As the spring/summer season begins, new construction season has arrived. Please remember to contact the Waverly Mayor's Office for permits for all new construction projects, such as sheds, garages, fences, pools, new business signs, home or business editions, etc. Please call 740-947-5162 or email matt.lucas@cityofwaverly.net . Permit applications are available in our office or we can email them to you. In addition, you may print them from Permits & Forms (cityofwaverly.net)
Also, before you begin any digging project, make sure to call 811 at least 48 hours, but no more than 10 working days (excluding weekends and legal holidays), prior to your project.
