MAYOR HENDERSON PROCLAIMS WEEK OF THE YOUNG CHILD

At the April 3 regular Waverly Village Council meeting, representatives of Pike County Early Childhood Programs were in attendance as Mayor Richard Henderson proclaimed the Week of the Young Child in the Village of Waverly.

"Now, therefore, I, Mayor Richard Henderson, do hereby proclaim April 6-12th, 2024, as the Week of the Young Child in Waverly. I call upon all residents to join me in recognizing the importance of early childhood education and to participate in events and activities that celebrate our young children. Let us work together to ensure that every child in Waverly has access to high-quality early learning experience that will help them grow, thrive, and succeed."
